Andy studied at Great Yarmouth College of Art. After a twenty-year career in Architecture in London, he moved back to Norfolk to pursue his love of illustrating interiors for both corporate and private commissions in the medium of large-scale watercolours. He now focuses on elements within these spaces using acrylics on canvas.

'I am drawn to the visual and graphic qualities of often-overlooked objects, appreciating them as sculptural forms. My work engages with the seemingly mundane and domestic, revealing their inherent character through the interplay of proportion, tone, and colour. By juxtaposing a passage of accurate detail with a mere suggestion of form, I explore the richness of these subjects' pictorial possibilities. A simple shift and play of light bring them to life, portraying their age and personality - a reanimation of the everyday'.
