Janet Dickson is a printmaker whose work interprets pattern and design in the garden and landscape, creating multi-layered linocuts, lithographs and monotypes. Her printmaking is underpinned by drawing and her love of line. Many of Janet's prints begin life in her sketchbooks, from drawings made on location.
Janet's background as a graphic designer is apparent in her linocuts and lithographs in particular, both techniques displaying a design sensibility in the tradition of English designer/printmakers.
Fiona works from her riverside studio in rural Northumberland from where she regularly undertakes printmaking workshops.
